On Saturday, February 22, join us for educational workshops, children’s activities and a “take home kit” for the entire family! Our children are “Entrusted to Us” by God, and as primary educators we have the opportunity to learn, to serve, to pray, to play and ultimately to Love each other!
The day begins with all gathering at St. Albert Catholic Church and concludes with a Mardi Gras celebration in the St. Albert’s Parish Hall. A full day of events is as follows:
8:30-9:00 Registration in the Narthex of the Church
9:00 Welcome & Opening Talk in Church
9:20 Parents sign in children to Children’s Activities/Childcare. With the exception of ages 0-2, the children will rotate through stations such as making a liturgical calendar, learning to serve through Mobile Loaves and Fishes and Little Angels, playing games and including a guided adoration appropriate by age.

10:15 Break
10:20 Second Parent Workshop

11:10 Third Parent Workshop
11:55 Parents sign out children to go as family to Parish Activity Center for family activity, lunch, book fair, and raffle/door prizes
1:00 Plenary Talk by Father Charlie Garza on Family prayer, Spousal prayer and Sibling prayer
1:30 Golden Educator of the Year Award and family game
1:45 Mardi Gras float creation and parade
2:45 Take home kit and closing prayers and comments
