MATH INSTRUCTOR - two sections: 7th-8th, 9th-12th Grade
The Math instructor is responsible for coaching students in multiple math courses within the middle school and high school groups. Mini-lessons and large-group problem solving activities are paired with individual tutoring.
SCIENCE CO-TEACHER - two sections: 7th-8th, 9th-12th Grade
The Science co-teacher will partner with the lead instructor to create an engaging, hands-on science environment for middle and high school, as well as advise independent study for high school. The science topic for 2019 is Earth Science & Astronomy.
THEOLOGY - Atrium Level III
A Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Level III Atrium Guide is needed for weekly catechesis.
THEOLOGY - two sections: 7th-8th Grade, 9th-12th Grade
The Theology Instructor uses the unit study themes from Regina Mater’s four-year cycle to lead students through the major topics in Catholic theology [Divine Revelation/Sacred Doctrine, Christology, Church/Liturgy/Sacraments, Morality]. The instructional model employs primary texts and Socratic discussion.
FRIDAY INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES (IS) - two sections, 1st-6th Grade (9:45-11:45)
The IS Instructor ties the core curriculum to outdoor, STEM, and Catholic heritage projects.
FRIDAY PHILOSOPHY FOR CHILDREN - two sections, 1st-6th Grade (9:45-11:45)
The Philosophy instructor will lead small group discussions based on the Philosophy for Children (Montclair University) curriculum.
