Catholic PARENTING class

Starts Tuesday September 10th, 2019 (7 weeks duration)

Learn how to coach your children through managing strong emotions such as tantrums, greater cooperation, problem solving, and increasing independence and autonomy.

A parenting class series is being offered this fall at Regina Mater!

Based on the book “How to Talk so Kids will Listen and How to Listen So Kids will Talk”, this seven-week class will include techniques for how we speak and gain cooperation from our two-year old through our teenager.

Founded upon respecting the dignity of each child and adult, this class will offer a chance for reflection and practice along with calming techniques from “Sitting with the Saints” and “Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.”

Parents will learn how to coach their children through managing strong emotions such as tantrums, greater cooperation, problem solving, and increasing independence and autonomy.

The fall series will begin on Tuesday, September 10th from 4-6 pm with subsequent Tuesday sessions. This series will include a bonus for parents who are co-teachers and include techniques from “How to Talk so Kids can Learn at Home and at School.”
